SEO Tips To Help Boost Traffic & Ranking for FREE!

1. Submit your site to Google, Yahoo, MSN and other search engines, web directories and social bookmarking sites that are relevant, reputable with respectable page rank.

2. Submit your XML sitemap to Google, Yahoo and MSN. Don't forget to create an HTML sitemap on your site for visitors.

3. Do not submit your site if it is still under construction.

4. Check that your keywords are relevant and occur naturally within your site.

5. Make your TITLE and ALT tags descriptive, simple and keyword rich.

6. Title tag should be 60 - 80 characters maximum length.

7. Meta tag description should be between 160 - 180 characters, including spaces.

8. Meta Tag keywords should be between 15 - 20 words.

9. Optimize pages with Headings (H1, H2, H3..) containing your site's primary keywords.

10. Validate your CSS and HTML. Check for errors and broken links.

11. Create unique, content-rich sites, avoiding duplicate content. Do not create multiple sub-domains or mirror sites with different domain names but with the same content.

13. If your site contains dynamically-generated pages (eg. the URL contains a "?"), try to utilize a modification that will generate SEO friendly URLs. Search engines' spiders having difficulty indexing dynamic pages.

14. Keep a maximum of 50 links per page to avoid the risk of being flagged as a possible link farm by search engines.

15. Use a robots.txt file to manage how search engine spiders are indexing your site. You can allow and disallow spiders and choose directories you want to be crawled and indexed.

16. Check your page link structure and site navigation. Every page should be easily found by at least one static text link.

17. Do not create sites that contains only affiliate links and sales copy, providing no valuable, unique content to your visitors.

18. Do not use hidden text and links. Show to search engines what you show to your visitors. Do not attempt to present different content to search engines than what you show to your site visitors, or you may be penalized/de-indexed.
